Does Broader Autism Phenotype (BAP) fall under PDD-NOS?

what is BAP exactly?Does Broader Autism Phenotype (BAP) fall under PDD-NOS?
BAP has only become recognised in the autistic community in the last few years, its more a term within profesional use, than for end users.

it isnt the same as PDDNOS,as all officially recognised ASDs have to meet the triad of impairment, which BAP doesnt, its more a part of a parents personality, which in BAPs case has a slightly autistic side but not enough to meet any type of diagnosis.

its mostly there to show that those of us with ASDs are genetically gaining it from our parents, of whom are likely to have BAP or be technically diagnoseable with some form of ASD.

most are likely to have a few traits only, but some of us have fully diagnoseable parents.Does Broader Autism Phenotype (BAP) fall under PDD-NOS?
First I say for the millionth time ANYTHING WITH NOS IS NOT CONSIDERED A DIAGNOSIS. I know that MD's use it alot but Not otherwise specified is not diagnostic.

PDD = some kind of impairment, some features of some neurological impairment (ASD, Anxiety etc etc) not clear enough to put in one specific category.

My understanding is that they were going to remove PDD as a diagnostic option - but who knows. Diagnosis means less than identifying the services a student may need.Does Broader Autism Phenotype (BAP) fall under PDD-NOS?
NOS is listed in the DSM as a diagnostic code.

it is a real and accepted diagnosis

299.8 is the code for PDD NOS

314.9 ADHD NOS

312.9 disruptive behavior disorder NOS
