Names of medications for pdd-nos?

FDA approved medicines for treating autism include: risperidone (Risperdal), clozapine (Clozaril), olanzapine (Zyprexa), and quetiapine (Seroquel). There are other medicines that are used in treating autism and have been helpful, but they are not FDA approved for treating autism but rather other conditions. You can read about the different medicines used here: http://www.autism-society.org/site/PageS鈥?/a>Names of medications for pdd-nos?
no medications are recommended for pdd-nos. ABA therapy, certain diets (gluton free, dairy free et cetera) some vitamin combinations are thought to have some positive effects, but nothing proven. there are specialists called DAN doctors that can instruct you in some holistic treatments that do make a difference, however don't hope for a cure, just improvement.
