Is PDD-NOS a lifelong disorder?

Yes. Pervasive developmental disorders are usually life-long disorders. Although the diagnoses are usually made during early childhood, they usually aren't completely resolved by adulthood. In some cases, unusual behaviours that lead to a diagnosis resolve when the child gets a bit older (as the majority of diagnoses are made when the child is 5 years old or younger), but a fair amount of the time the symptoms further develop and the diagnosis remains or a diagnosis of autism is made. The thing about pervasive developmental disorders is that you can catch them early, and with a lot of support and the right programs and education for the child and family, you can really make a lot of progress. However, it's likely that some (if not most) characteristics will make it (in some form) to adulthood. Is PDD-NOS a lifelong disorder?
Just trust yourself ,you are the best ,it is the best way to solve any problem! Is PDD-NOS a lifelong disorder?
yes,its an autism spectrum disorder that is not otherwise specified,as in-the person shows enough signs of autism but doesnt match any specific form.

it is a lifelong developmental disability, severity can be mild,up to profound, most think its the mildest form which isnt true, its just atypical.

a person with it will improve throughout life to some level-whether great or small, but wont become non autistic.
