Our son was diagnosed with sensory integration disorder as well as PDD-NOS roughly 6 years ago. It was devestating. We did at least 2-3 therapies per day (speech, ABA, OT) for years. He is now nearly fully mainstreamed and just a wonderful 9 year old boy. Don't ever lose hope or give up on your child. Just keep working away and doing everything in your power to advocate for your child. I was told by a school therapist that our son would never do "normal" things.
