How can you tell if a 2 year old has pdd-nos autism?

my son sees a Speech therapist, and so on they think he might so what do i doHow can you tell if a 2 year old has pdd-nos autism?
My daughter's speech therapist was also the first one to suggest that out daughter might have Autism Spectrum Disorder (she was right). She was able to recommend a Developmental Pediatrician to us who was the one who made the formal diagnosis. The other way people sometimes get a diagnosis is through a child psychologist who specialises in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

To get a accurate picture of your child's situation you will probably find it helpful to get an assessment done by a number of autism professionals including a speech therapist, pediatrician, psychologist and an occupational therapist. In the mean time, this may help you to better understand your son: http://www.childbrain.com/pddassess.htmlHow can you tell if a 2 year old has pdd-nos autism?
The only way to tell for sure is go see a specialist. You can't diagnose a disease and neither can anyone else who isn't trained to do so. I would make an appointment as soon as possible because if he does have autism it's best to know early so you know how to raise him as happy and healthy as possible.
