Could you collect SSI benefits if you have been DX: with PDD (NOS)?

Short answer: yes.

Long answer, it depends on your family income and household size as well as the functioning level of the child in question.

My son gets it with this diagnosis or did until I got a job that paid me well (I lost hismedical card then too and he did not qualify ofr my n\insurance plan because of the diagnosis). Now that he is in a group home he gets it again. But he also has a very hard time functioning in society and his chances for pulling out are verylow due to his age and progreesive worsening of problem behaviors.

Good luck!Could you collect SSI benefits if you have been DX: with PDD (NOS)?
