My child was recently diagnosed with PDD-NOS. I am looking for resources or websites that can help in finding a GREAT school that can help my child. I am not worried about location at this time; I am just looking for a place to start. Thanks.Which states and school districts have the best services for a child with PDD-NOS?

All states have programs for children under the Autism Umbrella, they have to with the skyrocketing prevelance. While each state has programs set up they vary in quality and quantity.
I'm baised and think that Texas has good programs (I teach special education in Texas) but I have heard that California has great programs, as well as the Carolina's.
No matter where you enroll your child you need to make sure that the school district is doing what they said they would do, or that they are offering everything that they are required to offer under the law. Many school districts rely on the fact that parents are not well versed in the laws that provide them with a FAPE (free and APPROPRIATE public education).
