Best schools for special education for 4-year old with PDD NOS (autism spectrum) in Virginia?

We are moving to Virginia and are looking for the best schools in Yorktown, Newport News, Isle of Wight, Hampton, Virginia. We would like to move to a good area with great schools for autismBest schools for special education for 4-year old with PDD NOS (autism spectrum) in Virginia?
You should take the time to visit each school district and speak with the supervisor of its autism program. Ask to observe a class which might be one your child could atttend and ask what types of programs are available - are there resource classrooms and self-contained classes for children who require them, are there individual assistants to support students who are served in a full inclusion model?

Newport News and Hampton are larger urban areas and Isle of Wight is a very small district. Yorktown is about in the middle (size-wise) and has enjoyed a good reputation overall.Best schools for special education for 4-year old with PDD NOS (autism spectrum) in Virginia?

I live in Hampton, Virginia, and there is the Sarah Bonwell Hudgins Center located in Hampton.

Hampton, Newport News has the headstart program at several of there schools. Avoid sending your child to any headstart program located near downtown Newport News, such as the 16th street and Hampton Ave centers; neighborhood is not safe at all.

Here is a list of all the headstart programs located within 25 miles of Hampton, the address where it is located, the phone number, who is in charge, and directions how to get there including a map:

Edit: You might have to choose the name of the city, state, and the distance but it will give you everything that you need.

Here is a link to the Penisula Chapter of Autism Society, they can also help you get your child into a nice school for your child.
