There are so many things to consider. Generally a child on the autistic spectrum has poor eyecontact, plays with toys inappropriately repetitively, and perseveratively, doesn't use gestures or is very late to use gestures.
Not pointing, nodding head, spinning the wheels of cars, lining up toys, playing with nontoy items like slamming the door, delayed in answering when you call their name, acts confused when given commands 1,2,3 steps, echolalia-repeating over and over again, fears noise, no imitation
