Did the DSM-IV describe Asperger Syndrome to be a pervasive developmental disorder in the autism spectrum?

I can't get my hands on a copy of it. I only have the DSM-IV TR which illustrates Asperger Syndrome in a separate category from autism. I am doing a paper on how the DSM V is going to put Asperger Syndrome and PDD-NOS in the autism spectrum.

I need some help...and resources and websites would be really great...Did the DSM-IV describe Asperger Syndrome to be a pervasive developmental disorder in the autism spectrum?
Actually DSM-V - from what I have seen and heard is putting them all together. there will no longer be separate Asperger/Autism etc. As someone who does 60+ evaluations a year I can tell you that the lines are quite blurred and you really never know how far students, with correct intervention and instruction delivered at the right time - can progress. It makes more sense for them to be together.

Since the DSM is in the Medical Field not the Educational Field - you probably need to look for research in medical journals. Start here: http://www.psych.org/MainMenu/Research/D鈥?/a>
