I can't speak of the schools in that area but here's some services for the area that hopefully will be helpful to you.

Contact CARD (center for autism and related disorders), they have a location in Springfield, VA that serves Washington DC, Metro area of

Northern Virginia, %26amp; Maryland. They have a variety of services available.

Contact the local Easter Seals, they also provide a variety of services for those with autism. type of services: http://www.easterseals.com/site/PageServ鈥?/a>

Joining a local chapter of the Autism Society of America is also a great place to learn about resources in your area. You can do a search here: http://www.autism-society.org/site/PageS鈥?/a> OR you can use Autism Source http://209.200.89.252/search_site/search鈥?/a> which is the Autism Society of America's on-line referral database of autism related services and supports. Autism Source is free, you can search by location or service type, and it provides resource listings throughout the United States. Listings include: many types of service providers, ASA Chapters, support groups, medical professionals (physicians, psychologists, speech, occupational and behavioral therapists), educational facilities, legal services, government agencies, research centers, camps, training programs and much more.Family moving to quantico,va. I have had several students transfer into my program from VA and have found that their IEP's and services in VA in general were pretty good.

I can't think of a school in particular but in general the states school seems to good a good job in programing for ASD.
