If not walking until 16 months, it means something is wrong with the baby?

I didn't start walking until I was 1 year old and a half. I have autism PDD-NOS, cognitive disability, learning disability, etc. Does it mean I'm a late bloomer or that I'm delayed? If not walking until 16 months, it means something is wrong with the baby?
Not necessarily. Some babies are just simply more cautious. I would say it's on the late end but I would be talking to your pediatrician about your concerns and see what they say.
walking at 16 or 18 months is not a late bloomer or delayed, it's actually pretty normal! All kids are different, I have 3 little girls and my oldest walked very confidently at 11 months, my middle daughter didn't walk until she was 19 months and my youngest was 16 months. =)If not walking until 16 months, it means something is wrong with the baby?
you could check the baby out to rule out autism and such. but i know kids that didn't walk till after they were two, and they turned out fine. good luck!
i think it is normal, go check the doctor. but i don't think it's wrong with the baby, i think it is you.If not walking until 16 months, it means something is wrong with the baby?
No, kids learn at their own pace my son learn to walk at 11 mos but could not crawl,he scooted until he was 2.
The Autism was probably the cause of you walking later yes.

However my aunty didn't walk till she was 18 months, she didn't even crawl and now she one of the most important nurses in the uk.

Your mother would probably be able to tell you more but this link will help you to understand your condition better http://www.autismspeaks.org/navigating/p鈥?/a>
