My daughter who has PDD-NOS has developed ticks. It seems to have gotten worse since I started her on GABA 500, but she has started other supplements. It was just suggested from a conventional doctor that it might be the GABA 500.Can GABA 500 cause ticks?
All the research I can find on the NIH website points to GABA being an inhibitory neurotransmitter, not an excitatory one. I guess that means that it would be very unlikely for the tick to be caused by the GABA, but anything is possible -- that's the only truth!
Couldn't really hurt to stop it for 10-12 days, right? You may also want to mention it to the diagnosing/prescribing physician as it may even reveal a specific new symptom.

Much luck to you! Hope that is helpful.
